Mabel I. Breneman-Amstutz, 98, of Elida, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Vancrest of Delphos. She was born March 28, 1924, in Cloverdale, OH, to Franklin and Margaret Matilda (Hicks) Bear. They both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Charles Breneman until he passed August 13, 1996. She then married Vilas Amstutz who preceded her in death on May 26, 2018.
Mabel is survived by her children, Sam (Irene) Breneman of Danville, OH and Esther (Elowayne) Mast of Lincoln, MO; stepdaughters, Cheryl (Mike) Kelhamof of Seabring, FL, Patricia Valencia of Summerdale, AL, and Rita (Tom) Burden of Lima; son-in-law, William Coblentz of Advance, MO; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great- great-grandchildren.
Mabel was also preceded in death by her daughter, Miriam Rose Coblentz, and 11 siblings.
Mabel was a member of the Sharon Mennonite Church. She was homemaker.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, Sharon Mennonite Church, Elida, OH. Burial will follow in Sharon Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00- 4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2022, and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at Sharon Mennonite Church.
