Obituary
Marjorie Meier, 92, of Delphos, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Sarah Jane. She was born in Fremont on September 10, 1930, to Joseph and Margaret (Borer) Hohman. She was married to Hubert A. Friemoth who preceded her in death. She then married Frederick A. Meier who also preceded her in death.
Marjorie is survived by her children, John (Shelby) Friemoth of San Diego, Hubert (Tana) Friemoth Sr., Bradley Friemoth Sr., Kathleen Davidson, Barry (Barbara) Friemoth Sr., all of Delphos, and Karen Burgess of Trotwood; a stepson, Kurt (Lori) Meier of St. Mary’s; siblings, Dwain (Barbara) Hohman of Ottawa, Patricia Briggs and Sharon Williamson both of Buelton, CA, and sister-in-law, Terri-Le Hohman of Los Angeles, CA; 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 2 great- great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands, brothers, Joseph (Nan) Hohman and Robert Hohman, 2 grandsons, and her brother-in-law, Ross Briggs.
Marjorie attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She retired from Joann Fabric. She loved to sew and read. Marjorie was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan. She especially loved visits from her grandkids and great grandkids.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Cemetery in Delphos. A private family viewing will be held.
