Mary R. Mullen

Mary R. Mullen, 97, of Delphos, passed away February 2, 2025, at Mercy Health-St Rita’s Medical Center. She was born September 7, 1927, in Delphos, Ohio, to Ernest Kesler and Vala Pavel. They preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on November 29, 1948, to James Mullen. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1991.

Mary is survived by her sons, Ronald (Lorrie) Mullen of Oklahoma, Dan (Diane) Mullen of Landeck;  daughter, Rebecca (Paul) Bullinger, of Cloverdale; six grandchildren, Aaron (Kim) Mullen, Chad (Dawn) Mullen, Melanie Bullinger, Jennifer (Brian) Dudgeon , Holly (Ron) Maxwell, Tim Bullinger; 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Mary was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kesler; and a great grandson, Phillip Dudgeon.

Mary worked for many years at the Delphos cigar factory, DWG.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband, playing cards and bingo. Mary loved her cats.  But most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. There will be a dinner at Ottoville VFW following services. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
