Nancy J. Brinkman passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, OH. She was born September 5, 1948, in Lima, OH, to John and Agatha (Raymond) Metz. They both preceded her in death. Nancy was united in marriage to John H. Brinkman on December 27, 1967. They would have celebrated 55 years of marriage this year. He survives in Delphos.
Nancy is also survived by a son, John J. (Barbie L) Brinkman of Clifton, TN; daughter, Marianne Brinkman of Lima; four grandchildren, Shelby Hudson of Huron, Richard Diltz of Columbus Grove, Elizabeth Hart of Ada, Kimberly (Mo) Cardenas of Ottoville; two great-grandchildren and one on the way, Xavier Binkley and Charlie Hudson; and two sisters, Judy Phillips of NC, and Patricia Elam of Lima.
Nancy was also preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen O’Brien, and grandson, Michael Anthony Diltz.
Nancy wrote poems, crocheted, and liked drawing pictures. She played the piano and sang in her husband’s band. She worked at Schnipke Precision Molding. Nancy was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a graduate of Delphos St. John’s.
Nancy loved and cherished her sisters and her family, very much. She will truly be missed, and remembered, for all the love and kindness she has shared with so many people. May the Lord carry you to his precious kingdom, in the place he has prepared for you, for all eternity.
