Nancy J. Jeffery

Nancy J. Jeffery, 94, of Paulding, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, with her family by her side at The Gardens of Paulding. She was born in Van Wert, OH, to Robert and Frances (Dittenhaver) Royer. They both preceded her in death. Nancy was united in marriage to Samuel “Sam” O. Jeffery on July 3, 1947. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2011.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Becky (Bob) Mayer of Paulding; sons, Gregory (Carol) Jeffery of Van Wert and Blake (Danny) Jeffery of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Deston Verfaillie.

Nancy was a beloved wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma. She enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting, knitting, and crocheting; and in her later years her TiVo, iPad, and her dog, Cutie.  Nancy was affectionately known as “Grandma Cookie” by some of her great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held privately in Live Oak Cemetery in Paulding, OH.
