Norma R. Etzkorn, 83, of Delphos, passed away at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born at home in Kalida, OH, on May 4, 1937, to Leo and Alice (Hair) Ricker; they preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Louis Etzkorn on November 21, 1992. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2012.
Norma is survived by one daughter, Polly (Tom Ridenour) Brinkman of Delphos; three sons, Jerry Hoehn, Jr. of Hilliard, OH, Roger (Colleen) Hoehn of Van Wert and Roy (Lisa) Hoehn of Lower Salem, OH; three brothers, Hubert (Betty) Ricker and Henry (Jean) Ricker, both of Delphos, Lawrence (Esther) Ricker of Florida; one sister, Leona Bellman of Delphos. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Harry Ricker, and a granddaughter, Natasha Hoehn.
Norma retired from Huffy after over 30 years of service. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Landeck, OH; a life auxiliary member of the Delphos VFW Post #3035. Norma loved all types of dancing, especially polka. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, playing the organ, baking, and collecting angels.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Landeck, OH. Burial will follow in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m., with a Wake Service at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.
