Norma J. (Arnold) Foust, 90, of Delphos, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Vancrest of Delphos. She was born September 9, 1931, in Allen County, to Everett and Hilda (Kindley) Arnold. They both preceded her in death. On June 16, 1951, she was united in marriage to William (Bill) Foust. He preceded her in death January 8, 1996.
Norma is survived by her son, Scott (Mary Jo) Foust, and her daughter-in-law, Barb Foust, both of Delphos; three granddaughters, Tracy (Tim) Kantner, Justice (Jason) Place both of Delphos, Ann (Alan) Barnes of Elida; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Everett (Chip) Foust; two grandchildren, Scot and Cory Foust; two sisters, Lois Bailey and Margaret Ribicki; one brother, Thomas Arnold; and her mother and father-in-law, Melvin and Beatrice Foust.
Norma graduated from Delphos Jefferson High School. She was a homemaker and world traveler with her husband when he served in the Army. Norma loved reading, watching movies, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid walker in her younger years; she also loved being outdoors and gardening.
A Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with one hour visitation prior at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Haddix will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Grove. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
