Patrese D. Hanson

Patrese Hanson, 57, of Delphos, formerly of Belleville, MI, passed away at her residence on Monday, May 20, 2024.  She was born August 3, 1966, in Belleville, MI, to Herbert L. Green and Geneva (Galloway) Green; they both preceded her in death. Patrese was united in marriage to James “Jim” Hanson on July 9, 2010. He survives in Delphos.

She is also survived by two sons, David (Megan) Lundell of Belleville, MI and James (Jessica) Hanson of OK; daughter, Cane (James) Henderson of OK; seven grandchildren, Noah,  James “Pork Chop”, April, Kailey, Grace, David, and Aurora; and three brothers, Herb (Kim), Jeff, and Dave Green.

Patrese was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond.

Patrese was a graduate of Belleville High in 1984. She was a crafter, turning everything she touched into pure beauty, spending time rock hounding, and gardening. Patrese loved her four-legged fur babies, Ellie, Marley, Zoey, Emma, and Sissy, the cat.  She cherished her home state, especially time spent at Lake Superior with family, and friends. Being a Nana was Patrese’s greatest accomplishment; she adored grandchildren and loved watching them grow up.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024, at David C. Brown Funeral Home in Belleville, MI. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at David C. Brown Funeral Home in Belleville, MI.
