Paul Evan Wreede, Sr.

Paul Evan Wreede, Sr., 76, of Delphos, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Lima.  He was born on February 26, 1945, to John Evan “Dobbin” and Leona (Vonderembse) Wreede who both preceded him in death

Paul is also survived by his children Jerry (Kathy) Wreede, Paul (Angela) Wreede Jr., Robert (Kathy) Wreede, Beth Ann (Rick) Huddleston, Daryl Wreede, Brian Wreede, Terry Wreede, Chrissy Wreede, Dianna Wreede, Angela Wreede, a step-daughter, Susan McClain; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including: step grandchildren, Joshua Buck and McKensie Buck, and Terry and Shaun Williams; a granddaughter Becky (Chris) Ridler, and a special Great-Grandson, Noah Ridler.  He is also survived by his special fur babies; special friends, Vicki and Sheli Coil, and Roy and Tasha Hullinger; and special caregivers, Donna Pohlman and Samantha Young. 

He was preceded in death by his siblings, John Wreede, Francis Wreede, and Mary Wreede Myers; and a step-grandson, Brian D. Williams.

Paul attended Eaton Rapids Baptist Church.  He was a jack of all trades.  He did a lot of property maintenance and was a plumber, carpenter, and electrician. He loved anything Ohio State, NASCAR, and loved to play games on his phone and tablet.  He also loved the Jefferson Wildcats and watching his grandkids sporting events. 

 Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.  Pastor Chris Ridler will officiate.  Visitation will be Monday, January 31, 2022, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 and an hour before the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA, Putnam County Hospice, or the Delphos Fire and Rescue.
