Peter R. Vasquez

Peter R. Vasquez, 57, of Delphos, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 due to an automobile accident.  He was born on November 27, 1962, in Germany; his parents, Lasaro and Elisabeth (Kramer) Vasquez both preceded him in death.

His is also survived by two daughters, Amanda Vasquez of Delphos and Patricia (Derek Gagle) Vasquez of Celina; two brothers, Loda (Robin) Rentmeister and Michael Pimple both of Germany; a sister, Sylvia Pimple of Germany; four grandchildren, Troy Smith, Colt Cross, Maxwell Metzner, and Sophia Metzner; and his significant other, Carrie Wieging of Delphos.

Peter was a carpenter for the Lima Carpenters Union #372. He loved OSU, the outdoors, and especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.      

Funeral services will begin on Friday, May 8, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Father Charles Obinwa will officiate. Burial will follow in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 7, 2020, from 2-5 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
