Rhonda K. Vondran

Rhonda K. Vondran, 62, of Van Wert passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at her residence. She was born January 5, 1958, in Lima to Ronald Dean and Marlene (Wollett) Mericle. They both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Vondran, he survives in Van Wert.

She is survived by a step-son, Michael (Kristy) Vondran of Lima; two step-daughters, Mandie (Jason) Vondran of Dublin and Melissa (Ryan) O’Dell of Upper Arlington; a brother, Mark (Julia) Mericle of Fort Jennings; a sister, Susan Parsons of Delphos; five step-grandchildren, two nieces,  two nephews, five great- nieces, and three great-nephews.  She was preceded in death by a niece, Ashley Harter.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wetzel Motorcycle Club and was a graduate of Delphos Jefferson.  Rhonda was also a laborer at Lakeview Farms. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, shopping for shoes and clothes, Harley Davidson, buying lottery tickets, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her dog “Molly”.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. There will be visitation prior to the service from 10-2 and 3-6. Burial will be at a later date.
