Rhonda Gay Woodruff, 59, of New Plymouth, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at her residence. She was born on May 28, 1962 in Lima, OH, to Lewis “Woody” and Dovie (Sargent) Woodruff. They both preceded her in death.
She is survived by her partner in life for the past nine years, Dan Carson of New Plymouth; her children, Mikal (Deana) Dodds of Lakeview, Aja Dodds, Elizabeth (Don) Hinckley, Marcus (Kristi) Dodds, all of St. Marys and Jared (Brandi) Dodds of Mansfield; grandchildren, Skyler, Zoe, Harlo, Joviana, Phinley, Kaitlyn, Carter, Tristen, Tobi, Belle, Colton, Presley, Harper, Kierra, and Alex; brothers, Ronnie (Marilyn) Jones, Lewis (Judi) Woodruff and Calvin (Kim) Woodruff; niece, Angie (Jason) Jones Walker; her beloved nephews, and sister-in-law, Ginny Merricle.
Rhonda was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Woodruff and a grandchild, Myrlis.
She was a graduate of Delphos Jefferson. Rhonda was a homemaker. Her grandchildren were very important; they were her pride and joy. Her favorite quote was from Michigan coach, Bo Schembechler, “Early is on time; on time is late”.
A Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. with one hour viewing prior to service on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Haddix will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00- 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
