C. Richard Lee, 91, passed away on June 24, 2026 at his home in Mound House, Nevada. He was born on April 30, 1935, to Enos and Alma Lee who preceded him in death. On August 11, 1956, he married the love of his life, Sonya (Best) and they were married 69 years. She survives in Mound House.

Richard is also survived by his daughter: Beth (Richard) Ayers of Dayton, NV, and his son: Michael Lee of Van Wert, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many nephews and nieces, and by many friends.

Richard is also preceded in death by his daughter in-law: Kathy Lee, his siblings and in-laws: Wilma Hanes, Doris (Gerald) Bly, Avis (Earl) Gross, James (Betty) Lee, and Robert Lee.

Richard attended Shawnee High School in Lima, Ohio and graduated in 1953. Over the course of his working years, he worked at Lima Cigar & Tobacco, Pepsi-Cola as a route driver and supervisor, and a semi-truck driver for B & B Motors and Nickels Bakery.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
