Richard Paul Stump

 Richard Stump, 55, beloved father, son, grandfather, and brother, of Delphos passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024. He was born in Lima OH to Richard and Paula M. (Ernst) Stump of Delphos.

Richard is survived by his daughters, Abigail (Justin) of Cloverdale, Madison of Delphos, Lexy (Gage) of Landeck; and by his sons, Dylan (Breanna) of Delphos and Devin (Lauren) of Elida. Richard is also survived by his younger brother, Aaron Stump of Delphos; and grandchildren, Brooklyn, Stella, Janailys, Lincoln, Grady, and Bennett.

Richard was preceded in death by his son, Andrew; and grandson, Greyson.

Richard was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Lima. He worked at Dan Foss (also known as Eaton) in Van Wert for over 25 years. Throughout his life, Richard loved a lot of things; fishing, being outdoors, nature walks, watching or feeding any bird. He enjoyed outdoor barbecues and get togethers. But his most important and meaningful joys were spending time with his kids, grandkids, and lifelong friends. Richard also spent a lot of his time with his pets, Kaya (dog) and Bobby (cat).

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
