Rick L. Brinkman

Rick L. Brinkman, 72, of Delphos, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at his residence. He was born January 31, 1951, in Lima, OH, to Harold and Mildred (Rayman) Brinkman. They preceded him in death. On April 11, 1970, he was united in marriage to Joyce Niemeyer. She survives in Delphos.

Rick is also survived by daughters, Michelle Karhoff, Julie (David) Teman, and Sandy (Nathan) Rostorfer all of Delphos; brothers, Randy (Linda) Brinkman and Jeffery Brinkman both of Delphos; and five grandchildren, Syndal and Reece Karhoff, Alexis and Tyler Teman, and Sydney Rostorfer; his nephews, Jason (Lisa) Brinkman and Dylan Brinkman; and his nieces, Kelly (Randy) Kunz and Lauren (Brian) Wueller.

Rick was preceded in death by a son, Scott; and brother, Terry.

Rick worked as an engineer at Ford; retiring after 33 years. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and volunteered his services there. Rick enjoyed cars, woodworking, fixing things, genealogy, and golfing. Rick cherished every moment spent with his family.  

Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 16, 2023, at St. John the Evangelist Church, Delphos. Father Charles Obinwa will officiate. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm with a Wake Service at 7:30 pm on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
