Robert Elsworth Monfort, 71, of Lima, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born April 17, 1952, in Lima, OH, to Robert and Betty (Keyton) Monfort. They both preceded him in death. Robert was united in marriage to Linda Sutton. She survives in Spencerville.

Robert is also survived by son Rodney (Jenifer Mellott) Monfort of Delphos; and daughter, Donna White of Lima; sisters, Sandy Wilkens, Helen Youngpeter, and Carol (Richard Jr.)  Boop all of Delphos; grandchildren, LaDonna (Casey Anderson) Monfort, Josh (Faith) White, Jack (April) White, and AJ (Larosa) White; and several great-grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Friend; brother, Carl Keyton; son-in-law, Aaron White; and grandson, Jared Shreeves.

Robert drove a semi trailer for many years. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and hanging out with family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held from 2-6 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
