Sharon L. Carder

Sharon L. Carder, 82, of Landeck, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 12, 1939, in Lima, OH, to Charles and Luella (Rahrig) Ebbeskotte. They both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church to Edward Carder on November 29, 1958. They recently celebrated 63 years of marriage. He survives in Landeck.

Sharon is survived by sons, Timothy (Theresa) Carder and Scott Carder both of Delphos; daughter, Jennifer (Jessica) Carder of Van Wert; granddaughters, Christie (Logan) Looser, Brooke Vanderhouse, Karissa Carder; grandsons, Brayden and Nolan Ditto; great-grandsons, Bentley Wannemacher, and Bentson Frederick.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Carder.

Sharon was a graduate of Delphos St. John’s High School, Class of 1957. She was a homemaker. She also worked at the Middle Point Bank, as well as, selling real estate. Sharon enjoyed making artificial flower arrangements for all types of occasions. She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Celina Eagles Auxiliary. Sharon loved being outside doing yard work or planting flowers. She enjoyed camping, playing cards, trips to the casino, and attending rodeos.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Landeck. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Parish Wake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
