Sherry A. Kunz, 70, of Delphos, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020, at her residence. She was born on June 14, 1949, to the late William and Alvina (Kleman) Stallkamp. She was united in marriage on July 11, 1980, to Gregory, who survives in Delphos.
She is survived by son, Paul Wienken, of Delphos; daughters, Dawn (Edward) Leonard of Boonville, IN and Karissa (Charles) Edwards of Delphos; brother, David (Kris) Stallkamp of Paulding; sister, Sandy (Craig) Suever, Delphos; grandsons, Edward, Charles and Jack Leonard of Boonville, IN and Cameron Lyons, Charles A. Edwards, and D’Wayne Edwards of Delphos; granddaughter, Denver Leonard of Evansville, IN; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Lyons of Lima, Devin Summers, Taluta Decker, Daelin Cris, and Destend Cris of Newburgh, IN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Caskey and sister-in-law, Mary Stallkamp.
Sherry was a homemaker and had worked for the Juvenile Probation Department in Van Wert. She was camp director of Camp Robin Rogers and a volunteer coach for T-ball. Sherry enjoyed fishing, boating, spending time at the cabin “Blue Heaven”. She loved life and people, never knowing a stranger. In her spare time, she liked craft projects, reading, and spending time with loved ones. Her family was all that mattered. Sherry was considered to be a second mom to many people.
Visitation will be Friday, May 22, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Memorial funeral service will be Saturday, May 23, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Harter & Schier Funeral Home with Father Tony Vera officiating
