Shirley S. "Sue" Wagner

Shirley S. ”Sue” Wagner, 87, of Delphos, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the Meadows of Delphos.  She was born on May 25, 1935, to William and Wilda (Sherman) Pollock.  They preceded her in death.  On June 16, 1956, she was united in marriage to Harold Wagner.  He preceded her in death in 2014.

Shirley is survived by one daughter, Marcia (Bob) McNamee of Delphos; four sons, Rodney (Karen) Wagner and Keith (Angel) Wagner both of Delphos, Paul (Sue) Wagner of Las Vegas, and Kevin Wagner, of Delphos; 11 grandkids, Jason (Cori) Wagner, Jenn Campbell, Erica (Robbie) Stageman, Erin (Luke) Schroeder, Alli (Mark) Radabaugh, Duane (Lindsey) Wagner, Drew Wagner, Megan (Steve) Steward, Mike (Jen) McNamee, Matt (Shannon) McNamee, Trenton (Emily) Gossman, and Stephanie (Nick) Blaylock; 22 great-grandkids; 2 great-great grandkids; and in-laws Karen Pollock, Richard Nichols, Marilyn Wagner, and Arlene Wagner. 

She is also preceded in death by sisters, Elsie Long, Betty Miller, and Joann Robidoux; brothers, Richard Pollock, Wayne Pollock, Ernest Pollock, David Pollock, Murlin Pollock, Edwin Pollock, Frank Pollock, Karl Pollock, Stanley Pollock, and Gene Pollock.

Shirley was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  She was a homemaker who loved to babysit her grandkids and the neighborhood kids.  She and her husband loved to travel and were always together. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour before the Mass at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.  Proceeds will go to a local nursing home.
