Susan “Susie” K. Teman, 69, of Delphos, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born June 17, 1954, at home in Delphos to Benny and Esther (Best) Teman; both preceded her in death.
Susie is survived by her sister, Billie Jean “Skip” Bardo of Delphos, nieces and nephews, Elaine Trentman of Landeck, Melanie (Larry) Morris, Terry (Tim) Hamilton, both of Delphos, Samantha (Josh) Young of Spencerville,
David (Deb) Teman of Delphos, Dawn (Steve) Cody of Abbeville, AL, Tammy (Joe) Recker of Lima, Tony (Tammy) Teman, Todd (Diane) Teman, both of Delphos, Mike Teman of Lima and Dan (Maureen) Teman of Delphos; as well as, many other close family members and friends, especially, Joe Lumpkins.
Susie was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, Butch, Skeeter, and Danny Teman; brother-in-law, Chuck Bardo; sisters-in-law, Joyce Teman and Charlene Teman; nephew Dave Trentman; great-nephew, Ryan Trentman; and her faithful, furry companion of 14yrs, Laya.
Susie was a member of Delphos St. John Church, Delphos American Legion Post #268, Delphos Eagles Aerie #471, and the Delphos Coon Club. She had worked at Van Dyne Crotty but retired from Lakeview Farms after over 20 years. Susie was the first Marbletown Mayor and was part of the Marbletown Neighborhood Watch. She was a big Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Susie enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, riding her golf cart, deer hunting, turtle trapping, mowing lawns, and mushroom hunting. She loved spending time with friends and family, never knowing a stranger.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, August 7, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
