Terry Wagoner

Terry Wagoner, 69, of Delphos, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born on December 8, 1952, in Lima to Richard and June (Coil) Wagoner. His father preceded him in death; his mother survives in Delphos. He was united in marriage to Kim Carpenter on August 18, 1973. She passed away on September 12, 2021.

Terry is survived by his sons, Shannon (Missy) Wagoner of Delphos, and Shane (Tina) Wagoner of Fort Jennings; two grandchildren, Katelyn and Zach;  brothers, Richard (Terri) Wagoner of Ottoville and Mike Wagoner of Delphos; sisters, Deanna (Gene) Culp of Delphos and Becky Wien of Lakeview.

 In addition to his father and wife, Terry was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Wagoner.

Terry worked at New Delphos Manufacturing in Delphos until it closed, then S&K Products in Coldwater, K&M Tire and Lakeview Farms.  He was a founding member of The Black Swamp Rifle and Pistol Club, and a member of the VFW Post #3035 Auxiliary. 

He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping.  He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and The Cleveland Browns. Terry also loved time spent with his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.  Pastor Steve Haddix will officiate.  Memorial Viewing will be from 2:00-6:00 that same day.  A VFW Auxiliary Service will be held at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Delphos VFW #3035 Auxiliary.
