Thomas Aguirre, 58, of Van Wert, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Divine of Shane Hill in Rockford. He was born May 7, 1965, in Lima, OH, to Robert “Joe” and Mary (Jim Caywood) (Cobos) Aguirre. His father preceded him in death on January 13, 2008. His mother survives in Van Wert.

Tom is also survived by his sisters, Cindy Pocan of Celina, Linda (Robert) Fuson of Spencerville, Patty (Bill Downey) Aguirre of Rockford, and Debbie Aguirre; sister-in-law, Luppie Aguirre; and many nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his brothers, Ruben and Robert; and his brothers-in-law, Tim Pocan and Steve Helton.

Tom was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He enjoyed shooting pool, playing cards, and gambling. Tom traveled all over the United States with Denver, CO and Phoenix, AZ being his favorite places. Above all, Tom’s family meant the world to him.
