Thomas E. “Turtle” Stocklin, 69, of Delphos, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Mercy Health. He was born January 7, 1957, to Thomas Sr. and Carolyn (Hile) Stocklin.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Carolyn Stocklin, siblings Kevin and Janice Stocklin, and nephew Matthew Stocklin.
Thomas was known for his hard work at Hardees. A true fan of LeBron James, the Browns, and the Indians, “Turtle” was happiest fishing or turtle hunting.
Above all, Thomas deeply loved his family and found his greatest joy in his role as a grandfather.
He is survived by children, Jeffrey (Allyson Fortman) Stocklin, Andrew
(Mallory Snyder) Stocklin, and Jennifer (Ricky) Dotson; brother, Greg Stocklin; and sisters, Deborah (Bruce) Denison and Michelle Blackburn. His legacy lives on through grandchildren Grace, Mylee, Easton, Kobe, Kaden, Kayla, Kylee, Kailyn, Madison, Dawson, Jaxon, and Joslyn, and great-grandchildren Beckham, Grayson, and Mateo.
Private family services will be held, followed by cremation.
