Virginia McKee, 96, of Delphos, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, at The Meadows of Delphos.  She was born October 30, 1925, to Benjamin and Mary (Goings) Teman who preceded her in death.  On January 15, 1945, she was united in marriage to Paul McKee.  He preceded her in death on February 13, 2002.

Virginia is survived by her children, Tom (Brenda) McKee of Delphos, Steve (Annette) McKee of Glandorf, Dave (Jean) McKee of Aliquippa, PA, and Sue (Gary) Gerdeman of Delphos; grandchildren, Angie (Dan) McKee Chung-Kirby, Lisa (John) Thiel, Thom McKee, Ryan (Nikka) McKee, Heather (Kyle) Potts, Amanda (Cameron) Lee, Melissa (Sean) Satterfield, Sara (Mark) Scafuro, Monica (Joel) Bruskotter, and Matt (Katlynn) Gerdeman; great-grandchildren Cooper, Alexa, and Lizzie Chung, Kix and Jake Thiel, Cole and Ben McKee, Madison and Mason McKee, Lauren, Gavin and Gabriel Potts, Savanna and Madelyn Lee, Finn and Colin Satterfield, Bishop and Alia Bruskotter, and Kamdyn Gerdeman; brothers, William Teman and Winifred Teman, both of Delphos; and daughter-in-law, Kathy McKee of Ravenna.

She was preceded in death by a son, Paul McKee Jr.;  siblings, Cleo (Esther) Teman, Bernard (Velma) Teman, Ruth (Joe) Ulm, and Eugene (Lou) Teman; sisters-in-law, Eileen Teman and Eugenia Teman, all of Delphos.

Virginia was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Delphos.

During the war years, Ginny was a welder for Graham Trailers in Delphos.  While there, she met and fell in love with her supervisor, Paul McKee.  They were happily married for 57 years.  Ginny was a remarkable wife and mother, always putting her family first.  Her kids’ biggest fan, she celebrated every victory and was there to console every disappointment.  She was happiest sharing family meals around the table, eating homemade noodles along with fried chicken or pot roast.  She was very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, making sure that their special days were remembered with a card and dollar tucked inside.  Their hugs, visits, and phone calls gave her comfort and joy.  Her hand painted elves that climb up every family’s Christmas tree will be forever cherished.

The family would like to thank the Meadows of Delphos for the care they provided the last two years.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at First Assembly of God Church at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 21, 2022, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

Memorial Contributions may be made to First Assembly of God Church in Delphos.
